Picture Review
The detail on this is more unique than your standard HGUC model. The Sazabi is indeed 1/144 scale however its proportions and sizes are more stretched because it is more of a wider and bulkier design. A lot of pieces are majorly big and thick. It's detail is there and it is good quality but most pieces could use more panel lines and detail. If your good, your could achieve a MG result with this HGUC. I am still surprised about the size of it because I am not used to that in HG models. It is definitely enjoyable don't get me wrong at all.
It has enjoyable additions as well. Most HG models sometimes lack options and add-ons which makes the model less enjoyable. The more you get the more fun it is to change it up frequently. Standard sheild, rifle, two sabers, the special beam saber, and beam axe.
It is a bulky model guys. It is articulated but obviously some pieces handicap how much it can angle. Especially the legs. However an action base always solves any articulation stress any model has.
Overall I don't have much of a HGUC to recommend everything I see but I like it. If you can't afford the MG Sazabi this thing is great enough. This and the Psycho Gundam, and Kshatriya are all special sized models. Majorly they are probably the only time you will see different sized designs compared to the usual models like Nu Gundam. Not surprising though. Make a big, wide, bulky mobile suit, and it's model will be big.
